Kewlopolis on CBS

KEWLOPOLIS is a new branding and programming strategy for the 2007-2008 season that will entertain an audience of girls and boys 6-11 in its Saturday morning programming block on CBS. And, in support of the KEWL brand -- will be some very cool new shows!

The "KEWLOPOLIS" programming block is comprised of six series. Returning are "CAKE" and "Horseland" with 13 brand new episodes. New animated series include all-new episodes of classic favorites "Care Bears" and "Strawberry Shortcake," an exciting new show called "Sushi Pack" featuring the comedic crime-fighting exploits of "superhero sushi," and DIC's much-anticipated original new dinosaur-themed action series "Dino Squad".

The new TV initiative is part of an overall integrated media strategy for the KEWL brand. Earlier this year, DIC co-launched KEWL, the first tween-targeted music & fan magazine and a companion website.
